This is what happens for me: Original saved recipe: OG predicted 1.061 Switch to edit mode. No changes made to grain, but now predicted OG = 1.055 Losses changed to zero L (as suggested by @Zephyr259) and predicted OG now back to 1.061

I did an Imperial stout with this grain at weekend. The grain seemed pretty dry, and smelt OK. Efficiency was down quite a bit, and I missed my OG by a fair margin. But the grain bed collapsed during mash, and I always seem to get a low efficiency with stouts for some reason.... So all looking...

Just wondering what other growers do? Am I OK to just dump 40g of homegrown hops into my FV? I've previously only ever used homegrown hops in the boil, and I had a sudden panic about putting un-sterile hops in my beer.

Yep that’s the Pip Boy dude from Fallout. I think my icon is from Fallout 3. From the ‘party boy’ perk - resistance to alcohol addiction. Fallout (3 & 4) is one of my favourite ever games too. Awesome post apocalypse scenery. Also love Skyrim by the same people.
