    Mangrove Jacks Irish Red Ale

Smithwick's? Caffery's what planet are you from? Would not cross the road for either! Thought it looked quite interesting but perhaps not

    Changes to the highway code.

The problem is there are far too many vehicles on the road. Its bad for the environment, and bad for peoples health, so these changes I would suggest have been brought in to encourage people to abandon their cars and get on their bikes! I will try and do my bit I hope you will too!

    Changes to the highway code.

Cyclist, biker, walker, car and motorhome driver here I hope the new rules make cycling safer and more enjoyable. Somewhat concerned that the changes may not have been fully briefed to all using the roads and it may initially cause more agro, and unfortunately more deaths and injuries to the...

    Mmmm Cheese

Vintage Red Leicester or as it now seems to be named Red Fox is probably the favourite. (Not the plastic massed produced stuff). I Like Wensleydale, Stilton and Dovedale White (or Blue) from the Hartington Cheese company, they produce some very fine cheeses. Don't like the cheeses which have...

Got to put my hand up, that was me - I sometimes cross dress, if its warm enough.

    The TV Licence.

Over paid without a doubt! A streamlining of 'pundits' and the obligatory female question asker (most have no idea about the relevant sport in question) would save a tidy sum over a year, but at 43p a day its not a bad deal.

    Cutting holes in stainless

Re Rust - Surely depends on the quality of the steel. My understanding is that it comes in different grades and the upper end should not rust. If there is no sign of it now then you should be ok

    TCP Off-Flavours

I have tried the Muntons APA today (23/12 entry but started 25/11, I brewed it too cold) and its fine, still a little cloudy but the taste had no off flavours I could detect. Let the wife try a small glass and she agreed it is ok. (Better sense of taste than me but don't let her have too much...

    Electric trucks.

I often have a smile about a friends 3 wheeler bond car now long gone. It was powered by a Villiers 2 stroke engine mounted on top of the front drive wheel. It could turn in its own circle but had no reverse. Totally unreliable, had 4 seats and was as light as a feather. An electric motor...

    Electric trucks.

There are modular battery designs for scooters. I read that Honda and a couple of other motorcycle manufactures are exploring the feasibility of using a common exchangeable battery, so collaboration is possible even without government intervention. Re mobile phone batteries - wish they had to...

    Pitted Stainless Ferm

A drill with a medium and then fine flap wheels may remove it, then metal polish on a polishing mop might be effective. But if you sterilise it, will it matter?

    TCP Off-Flavours

Bit concerned now! Just bottled a Muntons APA that took 3days to get going and 3 weeks to work out. Guess it was too cold in the kitchen. I have never dried rinsed containers, always thought more chance of introducing bacteria drying with a tea towel. I do treat the brewing water to a Camden...

    Covid - Plan B & Omicron

I have said on this forum that anything coming from No 10 I now take with a pinch of salt. Thats still the case, scientists and Doctors I will take heed of, and will LFT before venturing out into society (and then be very careful) but I guess I have relaxed a little knowing that the latest...

    Covid - Plan B & Omicron

Flat Foot your post applies to me (apart from me not earning much) I did ski as well pre Covid but we have to live - the Granny state is bad enough as it is - but when there is a pandemic, where you are potentially putting a lot more people at risk , and potentially denying a hospital bed to...

    Wetherspoons

Well I have more or less given the chain up. Tim Martin has come across somewhat two faced over Brexit, his treatment of staff has a lot to be desired and frankly I find the beer that's served never really top notch. The coffee is pretty good value though
