Wrexham Lager - Recipe Assistance if you can please?

Did your mate come back to you on the recipe mate?

Wrexham Lager - Recipe Assistance if you can please?

I know this brewery and it doesn't mass produce - it's quite small and nowhere near what it used to be the first time it was opened.

Wrexham Lager - Recipe Assistance if you can please?

I'm not sure there is much crap in it....if at all....

Wrexham Lager - Recipe Assistance if you can please?

Personally, I think they are using one of the nobel German Hops...and it's certainly Pilsner malt. There is some sweetness in there though....and there is a slight corn type taste on the back end though the nead brewer said they respected German Purity Laws...that being said, corn isn't...

Wrexham Lager - Recipe Assistance if you can please?

I emailed Ian Dale (head brewer) - I understand their desire for secrecy but no one will be able to replicate commercially or even desire to; its a shame as it could really spread the good word. I’d be most interested on what your friend would say. There are some old news articles to refer to.

Wrexham Lager - Recipe Assistance if you can please?

Yes, I asked the head brewer about bringing out the dark beer and he said they might do limited runs; they have just released their Boot Legger Pilsner that I have just ordered - right before the end I used to do a tour of the original brewery about once per month; it was obviously closing and...

Wrexham Lager - Recipe Assistance if you can please?

Dear each, Though I now reside on the sunny south coast, I am formerly of a North Wales base from a village just outside of Wrexham. Being one of the first (if not the first) Lager(s) brewed in the UK I thought I might give it a go. Would anyone happen to have a recipe for it? I have...

Will you drink in Wetherspoons when pubs re-open?

Well not really, he dumped them first - rather unceremoniously I might add; "Go and Work for Tesco's as they are hiring" - or words to that effect. Adding, "you will only get paid what you worked and sod all else until the government comes through with the 80%". Got to leave you feeling loved...

Will you drink in Wetherspoons when pubs re-open?

You'd have to be an ***** not to see it, I mean the guy takes to Twitter daily to confirm it !!!! :)

Will you drink in Wetherspoons when pubs re-open?

It's not the fact that they were put on furlough - I'm not sure furlough was even announced before he rudely informed all his staff to "P*ss off and work for someone else"... Tim Martin is about Tim Martin, his stance (which he can freely take) over Brexit was misleading... and now with his...

Will you drink in Wetherspoons when pubs re-open?

Yes exactly. It is about common decency and Tim Martin seemingly has none. I shan't be going back.

Will you drink in Wetherspoons when pubs re-open?

Because you realistically can't take the stance as the head of a company to "Go British - it's time for sovereignty and beggar the rest", then as soon as you fall on a potential loss of profit, you immediately dump your staff and beggar them as well. The guy was lording it that he was...

Will you drink in Wetherspoons when pubs re-open?

I think it is about respect. I no longer have any for this company (not that I had much). Just another demonstration of the social divide of the Elite and the Working classes. Don't get me wrong, I am not a 100% socialist - far from it, but I do truly believe that even capitalism requires a...
