I was thinking about the same when I move house and saw that this had hit the uk. Would be interesting to see the pros and cons vs the grainfather one. Noise and energy consumption would by the biggest things for me as I wouldn’t be doing anything too big.

Hi Jo, The cable is thin so might fit through an opening. One end is USB and the other is a propitiatory fitting smaller than a 5p piece. you can share the connections easily as they are slightly magnetic however it doesn’t have a battery so it’ll go off when unplugged. Photos below

I used one of these and still have it but I couldn’t find anywhere with the malt pipe upgrade in stock. One day feeling flush I upgraded to the Brewzilla. it worked BIAB perfectly, I’m not really sure why I upgraded.

You just need to remove the little metal tube from the float and then the hose goes straight on the filter. The ball float should then just hook on to the opposite end of the filter with the little metal ring
