Equipment For Sale Little Big Mouth Bubbler

There are two little big mouth bubbler glass demijohns. £15 They hold 1 gallon each. They have a wide opening so they’re easier to clean than your average demijohn. Both to go together. I’d prefer collection from Melton Mowbray LE130PJ.

Sizing Fermenter for a G40 Grainfather

I’m considering the G40 and this got me and I think there are loads of options. My brain is “working” along this… I have a 30L All Rounder. my ferm chamber could just about fit this and another all rounder or a bucket. if I did a double batch with the intention of filling two Corny kegs I...

    Greenhouse heaters.

I have one of the 40w ft long ones in my larder fridge and I keep it at the bottom being mindful that hot air rises. I’ve replaced the bottom shelf will a couple of planks my Fermzilla fits on. This allows adequate heat flow and I can get my wort from 12C (no chill and left it in the shed)...

    Brewzilla

I purchased the pro screen for the bottom which basically doesn’t have the hole for the pipe. I’ve brewed about a dozen beers like this now and it’s just easier to stir without the pipe and it’s one less thing to find on brew day. The only time I’ve had issues was when I had a lot of oats...

    Grainfather G-40 info

I did think the same. I wonder if two all rounders will fit in my fridge. Could experiment with different yeasts and dry hops. I’m sold, where’s my credit card…

    Grainfather G-40 info

It’s definitely going to have to be a slow sparge to make sure it filters through the grain bed. Although the other option at 40L is just do a full volume mash for a single batch.

    Grainfather G-40 info

I was wondering that. It doesn’t seem to leave much room for trub loss or large dry hops soaking it up.

The caps and disconnects have gone. Mini kegs still available.

    Brewzilla

I recently purchased the whirlpool arm and it does make the hops form in a nice pile in the middle. There weren’t many hops in the brew pictured, about 60g. It did appear to me that there was less junk in the fermenter but that’s never been a huge issue.

    Equipment upgrade

If you’re brewing a NEIPA I guess it’s getting a fairly hefty dry hop, what’s your process for this? After the dry hop I let the pressure built up naturally but wonder if you’re blasting it with co2 to purge are you blowing the krausen out the way exposing the beer to oxygen? I guess this step...

Brewzilla 3.1.1 fine mesh screen for malt pipe

I don’t use mine either. I find that if the grain is crushed too fine some does make its was through but it’s not huge amounts. Watching Gash at the homebrew network is how I learned how to use mine. https://youtube.com/c/GashSlugg

Equipment For Sale Stainless carbonation caps

I tend to use these (but the plastic ones now since I have a bucket full) to bottle the extra left in the ferment or leave them on if I’m taking a few to a friends. If you want to bottle a batch with these from something like a Fermzilla you’ll need to get it carbonated before and chill it as...

    Fermzilla Allrounder Jacket

I have fermented with the Fermzilla 27L plus jacket in the garage in the middle of winter. Since there’s some space under the conical Fermzilla I used a garden tube heater and it kept it within range. I’m based in the midlands so it wasn’t much below freezing. Couple of issues I had. 1...
