    Skinners Brewery

That’s a shame. One of his pubs was my old local here in Jersey before he left the island. He used to put on live music on a Saturday night, the place used to be jumping https://www.bailiwickexpress.com/jsy/news/award-winning-brewery-founded-jerseyman-calls-administrators/

    De-gassing 1st time

I’m doing my 1st wine kit a Beaverdale. I’m almost fermented out and going to transfer to a secondary FV. I’ll be going on to the degassing stage. Now is it like beer brewing where you don’t want oxygen introduced into ur wort ? Do I stir gently or vigorously ? It states I need to do it 3 times...

Interested to see how they play out in time,, my plates are slightly warping, without the rubber seal I don’t think I’d get a good fit..maybe the new plates are thicker 🤷🏼‍♂️

The grainfather app makes brewday a breeze and my old burco boiler is now my sparge heater.. Enjoy it’s a...

    Help with fruit beer

23lt , be expecting 2lt loss. Im gonna add just 1 kg of each purée as it’s gonna end up too expensive. As some1 recommended above im gonna dry hop with 100g strata,, cheaper option.

    Help with fruit beer

Iv got 1k of funkin & pro 869g mango so I think il descale the brew to a smaller batch ,I’m already £18 in in purée.! Iv got 200g of CITRA in the freeze but feel reluctant to use as I’d be heading down the ipa route and she’s not a hop head. I’m aiming for a sparkling summer fruit beer.

    Help with fruit beer

I’m after a really fruity number… Iv never used passion or mango so not too sure how prevalent they will be. Iv done raspberries and cherry and find the raspberry to be very strong. Strength is not so much of a problem as she’s a booze hound. I normally buy frozen fruit and stick them in the pan...
