That's how I do it. Straight after cleaning, goes in fairly easily.

Always bottle prime or prime in the mini keg but don’t shake. Only one I’ve ever had a problem with was a mini keg that was only two thirds filled. That taught me what oxidation tastes like and it’s not nice. asad.

Galaxy Amarillo & Mosaic ale Mostly Galaxy, bittered with Magnum and dry hopped with Galaxy & Mosaic. Using Notty yeast for the first time.

First effort. It’s in a 740g squeezy sauce bottle. It’s very very hot and near blew my head off taking a sniff after liquidising.:tinhat:

That's terrible. You could have stopped the boil as soon as you knocked the filter off, bailed the wort out into a fermenter and then put the filter back on. Tip the wort back into the Grainfather and start the boil again. It might change your IBU slightly, but it's better than losing...

Nice one @geigercntr Made a jar up yesterday with Birds eye and hot green finger chillies. Keeping it simple for my first go, just garlic ginger brine and chillies. Can't wait to see how it turns out. athumb..
