    Blackberry wine brewbitz recipe

I have every year made five gallons of blackberry wine and never drink any of it until at least 18 months old ( need to have a rolling stock ). So I will store in bulk in demijohns for twelve months, racking twice in that duration, then back sweeten if necessary then bottle and leave a further...

    Cheap long term wine storage?

I have always used Demi johns for bulk storage , wine stores best in bulk especially reds , would definitely say though if you do bulk store and use rubber bung always put some cling film over the bung first as the wine will pick up the twang of the rubber over time 🍷

i know this is a bit off topic but how much water is the norm for mashing in I have been using about a litre and a half per kilo of grain but have only done a few 10 litre AG brews so far, read somewhere this morning that a bit thinner mash is more beneficial than a to thicker one , any help is...

    Anyone use yeast nutrient?

Is that from dark rock then mate or somewhere else , haven’t heard of that one before

    Anyone use yeast nutrient?

Looked at my comments on yeast nutrient from yesterday and might seem Misleading , the packet of pure brew that comes with all their beer kits has yeast nutrient and water treatment combined and appears to work really well. You can also purchase pure brew in tubs also 👍

    Anyone use yeast nutrient?

The partridge brothers on you tube recommend pure brew from dark rock and have a sachet of in each on there kits, which has nutrient and water treatment as well
