Hi, After numerous posts on another thread, I' ve finally got my beer pouring out of my corny keg. But.....what I'm getting out of the party tap is a very slow pour, more of a trickle really. When I pour into a glass I get a ridiculous amount of foam! I'd guess about a 5:1 foam to beer ratio...

All, yet again I'm having serious issues with my beer. Corny keg is pressurised, tubing/fittings all clean (when I did clean them, the disconnect had a build up in it -all gone). When I pull the trigger on the party tap there's a slight movement in the tubing, but no beer comes out . Does...

I fermented in a separate bucket, then siphoned to corny (not the last inch). It didn't taste too good!

Unfortunately it's not in a fridge, have got that far yet. It's outside in the shed. As it's quite warm at the moment, its got to be reasonably warm. I'll dial it down a bit. Is the rule of thumb lower temp, lower pressure?

Unfortunately, I dont have another keg :(:confused:.....thats surely the dream!

Hopefully I've reconnected the gas line now. I'm going to keep it at 20psi for 3 days, then try again. Clearly that's a number which I just plucked out the sky. Would this be a good thing to do? Will it help clear the beer? I can't tell you how annoyed I am, been looking forward to tasting my...

Sorted it. Gas in line wasn't correctly seated. Think I may have wasted a great deal of co2. My beer doesn't seem to be clearing

It's my first brew with the corny keg. I plugged in the line, plugged the line into the dispense tap thing. At first there was a bit beer frothing, there some beer in the line, but only the smallest dribble comes out the party tap. Tried increasing the pressure to no avail. Any idea as to...

I'm looking at my next brew, I'm thinking Muntons Hazy IPA, or Mangrove Jacks Juicy Session IPA. Once fermentation is complete, I plan to transfer into my barrel. I've looked at the instructions and they mention bottling. Can it be put in the barrel instead? Also, with my first kit, the priming...

Hi, I'm coming to the end of my current brew (Young's American style IPA), and so am looking for my next. I would like to stick to an IPA, maybe citrus hint........I'm open to suggestions........ Anyone have any recommendations???

Further news on this story, after 5 or 6 weeks of sitting in the barrel I am happy to report that the beer is starting to clear. I've had some the last couple of nights, and the taste has vastly improved - although I think (well, I hope) there is still room for improvement. Which brings me to...

I thought there may have been a leak, but when i removed the airlock, i was blasted by a stream of CO2, so I'm guessing the seal was pretty good.

if it is Lactobacillus, is it incurable?
