Thank you but it's the G70 I'm interested in specifically because I can get a brand new boxed and still sealed one for £400 from a bankruptcy sale. Still slot of money though if it doesn't work as intended.

Hi, a couple of my kegs have developed shiny spots where they have rubbed against each other or something. Is there an easy way to get them back to a matte finish again please? I've tried scourers and abrasive cleaners but they are just making the shiny parts bigger and shinier. Thanks

The wort side is fine, I can't get 3/4" GHT fittings started on the water side so putting PTFE tape on will make it worse. I think I've found the problem though, I think this one is an American version and their GHT fittings are different. I'll maybe have to think outside the box a bit.

Any reason why? I wasn't intending using it strait from the sack, I was going to wash it then boil for 15-20 min then rinse to try and get rid of the starches/stodgy stuff and dehydrate before use. Rice hulls are at least £3/kilo plus postage, this stuff I can get locally for 24p/kilo.
