Should be ok. In woodworkers in Belfast. One of these beers is white hag session ipa and the other is overtone laughter American pale ale. They look and taste near enough identical.( edit look same but don’t taste the same. As expected ipa more bitter after a few sips and the mrs has swapped)...

I was going to enter a zombie dust style beer but it got drunk, so it’s my hazy citra sort of pale ale instead, and a westy. First comp so just in it for the feedback really! Don’t think I’ll pose a threat!

This is my first completion entered. Any ideas what catorgory to put a 5% hazy citra pale ale in. Basiclly Maris otter with a smudge of oats, verdant yeast and loads of hops. Has an intentional gentle bitter backbone so def not in the NEIPA catorgory. I’ve already got a classic west coast in...

    Woke.

It was sort of. Let’s brush climate crisis under the carpet and hope technology saves us.

    Sabro, Talus, LUPOMAX

Generally had good results from lipomax. Never tried Talus version although when I used Talus t90 the once all I got was an over powering taste of coconut soap. Wasnt pleasant. All tasters picked it up.

    Woke.

I noticed he wouldn’t take any questions. essentially he is saying let’s do **** all and hope technology will save us? Is that it? Hardly a powerful philosophy is it.

    Choosing a new grain mill

I’ve looked into this quite a bit and the Grainfather one mentioned above came out as the best. A bit over the price range but despite a lot of digging I can’t find any complaints so that’s the one I’ll eventually go for I think.

Help! I think im obsessed! Whats your homebrew story?

i had a sort of Damascus moment. i had a cynical view on craft beer, thought yanks calling their beer IPA was sacrilege and thought homebrew was just cheap rocker fuel. Then visiting a mate in around 2016 i tried one of his from a kit and was well impressed., and about that time a craft ale bar...
