    Defrosting.

    my transit used to have a heated screen. 60 seconds and i was off on a call. now my transporter doesnt have one,and as its diesel it takes foever to warm up, im still there after 30minutes sometimes, and they wonder why members complain,

    thats an intresting thought. ive not heard that before.i know someone on here said just poor the lot in, and tbh i thought that was ok, which is why we use things like hop spiders so we can get more wort out the kettle,

    it depends on where the car is. home then yes .warm water, but if its away from home then sometimes you have no choice.it does annoy me to get in a car where the screen is scratched to pieces though, so many people do it, not realising the damage they are doing.

    been in the fv for 17 days .the clumps take up most of the room in the wort,,i think if i did bottle i would only get a couple of bottles. but after seeing this, i wouldnt want to drink it any way ,

    Blue syphon clips

    i used mine on sat morning ,and they kept releasing the bottling pipe. i do have a pvc hose that is soft when warm and stiff when cold, and as i cold crash my beer prior to bottling it makes the pipe very difficult to handle, i have now ordered a silicone tube so hopefully that will solve my issue
