    Flat beer with tap system

Yep, the flow is just fine, not over pressurised but not weak either.

    Flat beer with tap system

Gas appears to be getting to the beer, yep. I tested the spare gas line on an empty keg, and it whacked gas into it no bother. There should be plenty of gas in the cylinder - it's brand new for this kegging and it's a 6.35kg one. I've had a good listen and I can't hear gas escaping anywhere...

    Flat beer with tap system

Well... that's been a good wee while now, and the beer is still completely flat. 😅 No idea what I'm doing wrong...

Ahh. Every day's school day! Thank you very much. 😄

    Flat beer with tap system

About half an hour... I feel like I've asked a silly question now! 😅 Since there are two different styles of beer in there, I just looked online and chose a middle-ground of 14 psi and the temperature at 4°C. 😬 I reckon I need to do some proper calculations and make adjustments before I complain...

    Flat beer with tap system

Finally managed to get CO2 for my tap system, but I've had another snag. Flat beer. I've got a keg of black lager and a keg of Irish red ale in there, both of which taste great, but are flat as the proverbial pancake. I've tried cranking up the psi on the regulator, checked for leaks, nothing...

    First-time Lager Brewing

I'm hoping to get most of it into a corny keg, and the rest... well, no idea! Probably bottle? I was just planning to leave the fermenter linked up to the glycol unit and let that keep the temp right for as long as was required, the keg it?

    First-time Lager Brewing

Not sure if this is the right place for this post, so apologies if it isn't! Or if these questions have been asked recently and I've missed it. For my next brew I'm hoping to make a black lager with an all-grain kit. The instructions seem straightforward, but there are a couple of points I'm a...

Regulator Doesn't Fit Gas Bottle - Help!

Got my mixed gas regulator today... still stuck, because the tubing is the wrong gauge, too small. 😓 Ya couldnae write it. 😂

Amazing, thanks for the info! 😁

Regulator Doesn't Fit Gas Bottle - Help!

I Okay... this is more new information! Different tap types, spout types? I have the Mangrove Jacks triple tap Kegarator (pictured below), so not a huge amount of flexibility there, but this is all good information for future setups. 😁

Regulator Doesn't Fit Gas Bottle - Help!

The reg came with my Mangrove Jacks kegarator. I never gave a thought as to the gas type!

Regulator Doesn't Fit Gas Bottle - Help!

Just ordered a mixed gas regulator. 😆 That bottle of 70/30 cost me an arm and leg, so I'm going to use it! I assumed (perhaps incorrectly) that 70/30 would be best for the ales and stouts that I'll mainly have on my Kegarator?

Thanks everyone! Quick responses all round there. That explains it... 🫣😏

Regulator Doesn't Fit Gas Bottle - Help!

I have a bit of a problem. Trying to get my Kegarator set up and get my beer kegged for the first time, but the gas regulator doesn't seem to fit the gas bottle. 🤯 Seems like I need some sort of adaptor, but what? I'm going away on holiday in a few days so I'm running out of time to get this...

My problem is that the outside tap is on the diametrical opposite side of the house from the garage where my kit is. Haven't figured out if there are tap adaptors for the fancy taps in the loo in the next room, but that could be a possibility. 🤔 Wow! Looking forward to getting some inspiration...
