    ispindle Problem.

I've looked, but its a full change and requires a new PCB design. The pill cases are also expensive and I can only find them at Kegland themselves via Ali Express. This would make the ispindel far more expensive. Željko (developer of the Nautilis) has gone down this road - but I simply dont have...

Is it consistently out a little over the range? You can go into the config and adjust the formula a little.

Ah, I misread your post and thought the gyro was measuring zero. Drop me a message and I'll fix or replace it. Sounds like the temp sensor has developed an issue.

Sounds like the gyro is dead. If the temp sensor dies, it won't start up at all. Where did you get it?

Get yourself an ispindel for half the price and none of the hassle. 😁

That what I rely on too. I've never measured the volumes other than mash and sparge input! If I'm a few hundred ml out, then I don't really care.. I'll win some and lose some in both the kettle and fermenter and I don't suppose a little here and there actually matters.

Are these quite easy to fit? I assume. It needs a new tap, with a connection vertically for the sight glass?

Agree on the shaping of the kegland 8L ones. I have two and they fall over very easily unless at least a third full! By the time you get the tapping head, and maybe a nukatap mini on there, they're very unstable. I'm tempted by the 4L - after all I only really use the 8L for overflow from...

Assume you'll send it back for a replacement or refund? Be interested to hear how you get on when you report the failure..

    ispindle Problem.

It's pretty surprising that it's still sending data! The temp sensor is right at the bottom and liquid usually shorts the pins as they're quite close together. Without the temp sensor, the ispindel won't wake up enough to transmit.

Assume the Jeffrey 2.0? I have see the ispindel in a rapt pill housing, but it took a custom re-designed pcb. Good luck, but it's not just a case of sanding down another pcb design.

    ispindle Problem.

The rapt tube doesn't fit the ispindel board - at least not the cherryphilip design. It's possible to use the rapt tube, but it needs a customised ispindel pcb.

Definitely not one of mine! Good luck.... but doesn't sound great already! :( Fingers crossed its just stuck on something.

There's not much you can do if the switch it dead - other than replace the switch. Thats a ball-ache as you have to remove the charging board and the wemos, get the switch out without damaging the board, clean up all the old solder and the put it back together again. On top of that, the switches...

I've always found it a little odd that hop spiders tend to be tall and thin. They'd be better being much wider. Maybe I'm just looking in the wrong place! I normally use a spider, and it's worked fine so far for me.

Ah, I see. So the extension just lifts it up a bit and makes it easier to position? I've got spare hose, so can easily knock something up with a couple of camlock fittings. I've never used a whirlpool before, so will be interesting to see how much it helps keep the break away from the pump hole.
