What have you been cooking in your air fryer?

Picked up a Ninja Foodi Max dual zone 9.5L air fryer at the weekend that was going for a r a decent price, to replace the Aldi once that was getting old. It's really good : much better and the dual zone is very useful. Seems to cook much quicker than our old one and Crisp stuff up really well.

    Research beer

Yes, I frequently buy beers for "research" . Some, I find I have to research again, and again, and again. :D

    Kits I Wouldn't Brew Again

Muntons Connoisseur Lager. Or was it pilsner? Can't remember. It was absolutely dreadful in every way possible. Brown not golden and more twang than Brenda Slaggs knickers.

    New in Wrexham

Theakstons Best isn't so bad for keg. Would be good to see what guest cask they have on. Wrexham lager is legendary : used to share a house with a lad from Oswestry) big Wrexham fan) who had many a Wrexham Lager based tale. athumb..

    Booths stores

Fun fact, Batemans once did a bottle conditioned ale exclusively for Booths, who insisted on it being bottle conditioned, which annoyed the Batemans head brewer at the time as he was of the view that the Batemans yeast wasn't really ideal for bottle conditioning. This was way back in the early...

    Does it get expensive?

I've no idea really, but the way I look at it is that it's not the most expensive hobby in the world, is enjoyable, and unlike my other hobby, it gives me free beer.

I used to use Brewers Friend but switched to Brew father which I find better and grows with you as you tailor your process to suit.

    TETB’s Brewdays

Same glass? I always find slightly under carbed ales are far more prone to dishwasher / soap rements on glasses, which have gone by the second pint. Sure it will be fine once fully carbed up.

    CML Clipper

I have used it in a variation of a 1920s Boddingtons IP recipe. Initially after conditioning it wasn't great, but evolved after a couple more weeks into something quite nice. It was a very blonde ale, and I suspect it would have been better in a darker beer. With fining, it drops completely clear.

Thiolized yeast curious...but will I be thrown in jail??

Evil government. Gong back in time to build Victorian sewerage outflows then deliberately making it rain so they get used. Booooooo Boooooooooooooo!!!

Looks like it was a bit of a pig, but if you've ended up with 3 old brew days worth, then it still has to have been less effort, and it will get better just like it did last time.

What are you drinking tonight 2023.

So, last one tonight from the Lidl box, then I really must have an ale. Number 3 - Malty, but with a bit more bitterness perhaps? Sweeter than the other two, but not as... erm... Malty 🤣
