    Recomendation for Water Analysis

Hi Trueblue Would you say that a water report such as this is basically useless or that it may still offer some value in the absence of a specific analysis / report of my households water ? Also, have heard that some people are using pure water services such as this About the Company -...

    Recomendation for Water Analysis

Little off topic - For anyone supplied by Affinity Water, they seem to provide a potentially useful water report / analysis. This is for the Woking area (other areas are available) - https://www.affinitywater.co.uk/docs/water-quality/AF066.pdf That said, I know virtually zero about water...

    Greg Hughes Black IPA

Hi Craftman I brewed the Black IPA a little while back. Manged to get a slightly higher OG of 1.059 (book suggests 1.054) and ended up with an ABV of 5.37% which for me is perfect. Nice pint and one that I will definately do again. Hope you enjoy yours.

    Hello from Surrey

Hi @roboto I'm in Horsell, which is next door to Woking, so you must be nothing more than a stone throw away. When we are all allowed out, perhaps you might like to do some bottle swaps ? Welcome to the forum.

Second bake, this time with 20% wholemeal flour and 75g of starter. Happy with the results and very tasty.
