Things I've learned after my third Home Brew

So tonight was the night I kegged my Wilko IPA and brewed a triple Hopped IPA kit (with dry malt instead of sugar and needs dry hopping in a few days), and there were a few things I've learned: 1, Screw bottles can not be capped. They break. FULL STOP. Stop being cheap and buy some bottles...

    New to the Brew...

Can't wait to get into all grain. I'm planning a Black IPA for my first, but want to build up with a mini mash first.

    New to the Brew...

That's a fantastic start. I'm just starting and working with a starter kit on the garage. Payday will allow a fermentation fridge, similar to yours with a heat pad not a heater. New Wilko kits

I may go full on and use DME with the next. See what happens.

    New Wilko kits

I'm still new, and will look up the technical reasons but what are peoples view as to the advantage of 50/50 mix over dextrose?

    New Wilko kits

The Hoppy one is my next planned brew. Looking at doing it next month as I have one of their standard IPAs in the FV at the moment. Not expecting great things from the standard IPA, just hoping for a drinkable pint. Still learning (two brews in) and didn't want to add the extra steps of dry...
