Tried to offer some of my bramble cider to the other halfs bro in law (he's a cider drinker) but to no avail. I guess it's mine then :confused.:

I had to go back and check that one. Oooh lala! Anyway, on to the first sample of my ESB/English IPA... I probably should've washed the glass because all I can smell is the previous beer... But this is pretty tasty...

The sister in-law is round to see the baby so I'm confined to the garden (and shed). Luckily this bad boy was hiding in the homemade coolbox in the shed! An overly Wheaty Chinook cascade user upper pale ale. It's quite nice if I don't say so myself!

Next up a Shindigger IPA not bad at all!

Stopped off at the pub mid walk for a pint of London Pride. My first cask beer for a long time Unfortunately the baby wanted feeding so I had to have another! Props to my wife for her excellent multitasking here.

Just bottled my ESB and had a sample - it's quite astringent, I hope this ages out because everything else is great about it. I did inexplicably get 95% brewhouse efficiency on this brew so I've probably extracted some tannins from the grains during sparging 😢 Now I'm having a taster of my...

After a very stressful first week back at work I'm off the wagon! This rye IPA refuses to clear but it is delicious!

Well we'll see how my first day goes. I'm fairly certain they aren't going to be impressed by my availability 😂 Next up... Similar to the first one but this one is nicer. It's got a sweet candy aroma and taste to it that the other lacks. 8.8% abv too. Maybe I'll just quit my job and carry on...

Back to work tomorrow after four weeks paternity. It's going to be rough. Having some medicinal beers tonight. I'm also having a month off the beers after tonight, I've put on a stone this month! 😅
