Cigar finished so I went to retrieve the wife woman - she's out for the count. Guess I'll have to have a nice rye IPA and chill for a bit more on my own.

Gotta love Brewdogs counter brew ALD IPA! I'm still waiting for the AL DIPA version, they missed a trick there.

Don't knock it till you've tried it! I prefer maltier beers to hoppier beers so it's definitely down to personal tastes. Next up another ALDI special. A bit of false advertising here as it definitely wasn't 'twice as nice'. Too boozy and too bitter, barely a whiff of hops.

I've finally got my hands on an Anti Establishment IPA from ALDI. It's not bad! It could do with more hop aroma and a tad less bitterness and it would be great.

An hour walk to the pub and the sun decided to show its face. Lager it is then! I do like an Estrella Damm every now and then, reminds me of cheap Spanish holidays.

I've stashed my quad away until Christmas but I'll dig one out for judging day to see for myself how it's holding up. So far the only feedback I've had for this is from my uncle - he fell over 😅

I do love this glass but it rarely gets an outing due to my fear of knocking it over! Always my go to when I'm having a wheat beer though

First proper taste of my ESB (the first time was a little too early and I was pished). A very nice simple beer, just as a bitter should be. Maybe could do with a little more caramel sweetness but other than that I'm pretty happy with it 🍻
