    Hi from Caithness

They're pretty well stocked for all things beer/wine. In the front door and head for the back of the shop towards the "Draper Tools" sign. 2 isles of stuff, with all the tools of the trade. I was quite surprised. Good selection of kits, fermentation buckets, demijohns, bottles and everything...

    Hi from Caithness

They are pretty well stocked for all things beer/wine. Most things are a little more expensive than buying online but only 20-50p item. But the convenience of getting the items there and then was handy and also the added bonus of keeping the shop in business 👍

    Hi from Caithness

Yeah I certainly did. I was looking online and they seemed to be in the region of £10 each, so I was going to order a couple. Then the manager at our local charity shop says oh we get them in from time to time. Few days later, "Ive got 10, how many do you want" she says :D

    Shopping List For New Winemaker

Hey guys, going to be having a go at a few WOW recipes in the next couple of weeks. I've got plenty demijohns, stoppers, airlocks etc. Got a hydrometer and confident using it. I don't have a trial jar though (only done large kit wines in a bucket so just put hydrometer into bucket). In terms...

    Hi from Caithness

Hey folks, figured I'd say hi. Probably been over 30 years since i last made wine. Only kit stuff though. My wife bought me a Youngs 30 bottle Merlot kit for Xmas and I got around to making it a couples weeks ago. Turned out to be more of a Rose than a Merlot, but it's quite a nice drink and I...
