I have this exact issue as well on a cooling coil for an SS brewtech fermenter... tried PBW, starsan (diluted though), vinegar etc, nothing comes off other then when i use some abrasive material... really annoying! doesn't seem to affect things but it hurts my cleanliness OCD ha... it seems to...

Once a year, i gather up all my opened leftover packet of hops and I make a crazy random IPA style beer.. I aim for an approx target IBU, but i just randomly choose the hops I have and spread them over the boil/whirlpool/dry hop.. made some mental tasting, but very drinkable beer.. One of them...

Ive a Maxi 310 using plain old water and ive modified it to have a mains plug direct on the recirculation pump and i just plug that into my inkbird to control when i want the cooling i.e the recirculation to be active. Works well enough and in a garage setup i can crash down to about 2degrees on...

I like the adapter to adjust the height of it in the carboy. If I was using carboy's still I might be tempted to get one of these myself haha!...

I was thinking this a couple of days ago... I've had a lot of elvis juice over the years, used to be the one beer from them i liked, but i got a 4 pack on holiday last week and i swear the quality/flavour has really dropped. didn't taste anything like i remember. maybe it was just a poor pack...

Lol.. ditto with a spunding valve as well, don't have a means to use it yet, but seemed a really good price and I hear the kegland ones are pretty good quality.

Very much this.. Been drinking their stuff for years but recently yeah it feels like the beers are made by accountants and squeezing every penny from them making them boring and lifeless... I treat their beers now very much how i treat cheap lagers!...

At least its pale ales, just imagine if you put your name down to do barleywines! 😵

Thats exactly what i didn't do.. I have a brewtech BME chronical and a pump so whilst i was pumping the beer into the bottling bucket, the resulting vacuum then pulled the sanitiser through from the blow off.

I've been with them from the very start so I've got a loyalty discount going for the 10 beer box. it works out to £2.30 a beer so i figure that isn't bad price for a single beer delivered. beer always feels on the cheap side anyway. Delivery has always been ok. I did once have an issue where...
