    Fiery Ginger Beer

Try to make a turbo cider first and go from there. It's the most relatable product to build up to ginger beer. As an aside the price of ginger has almost doubled in most supermarkets so it's not quite as cheap and cheerful as it used to be.

    How to make Turbo Cider.

Juice drink is a mucky kind of robbery. May as well say diluted squash! I've been caught out with this before. I ended up with sickly sweetener tasting wine. Gave it away to known alcoholics and the drain. Live and learn. You might just get away with it with cider. There's an actual law...

    Football.

That was the point, the one most aligned to football is the most out of touch with kids. As an example fortnite is akin to the pyramid system in that you can become the best player/team/squad without spending any money. The skins/season passes are enriching in the sense it's nice to have a...

    Football.

That's the great irony, the FIFA video game is the most out of touch with kids. It's £50 to buy, generally just re skinned content hiding a gambling mechanic. You've more chance of winning the Euro millions than getting a GOTY Ronaldo or Messi. EA execs have been caught selling the rarest...

Ultimately they come to the same conclusion. The most popular video games with kids are the free ones.

Now tv aka sky do a day pass for £9.99 month for £30. Used to be a lot more reasonable at £5.99 for day £12.99 for week and £20 for month.

They've priced the younger end of the market out for at least 10 years so there's no flow through. I've only been able to afford to take my sons a couple of times. Theyd rather go bowling, swimming or to the cinema, which are all generally cheaper. My kids are early teens and are only really...

Best place to buy mixed cases of beer online?

I would be interested if anyone knows any places for reasonably priced continental ales.

Best place to buy mixed cases of beer online?

Beer52 have regular pay the postage for 8 bottle deals. I find them a bit hit and miss. Most are 330ml so it's like a tease of too much guff and not enough of a good one. Brewdog have been doing some decent case deals which bring them to around a £1 a can or less if you can find a voucher code...

Pimp a MJ American Pale Ale?

I last brewing this in Jan 1kg brewing sugar 250g light spray malt with 20g Chinook tea and 30g Mosaic dry hop at cold crash for 3 days. Kegged 1 week warm then back outside for 1 week. Was great for first 2 weeks, really mosaic juicy but lost a lot of that after. First time I've used my keg in...

    Covid Passports

BBC News - Covid-19: Vaccine passports could create 'two-tier society', equality watchdog warns https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-56755161 Interesting side note at the end referencing that not even half of all care homes have vacinated all their staff. Also that it is currently illegal to ask an...

    Mangrove Jacks Hard Seltzer

Me and the wife have tried a few from Aldi one from Lidl and a couple from Sainsbury's. They all taste like flavoured sparkling water, some seem barely even flavoured at all.

    Science behind the perfect glass.

There's loads of research into glasses and I can see how a stem/handle will aid temperature. The nucleation on a glass is definitely important. After cleanliness I think the rest is aesthetics.
