    Crossmyloof

That’s brilliant Baron. Thanks for that it would be good to hear how it finishes.

    Crossmyloof

That’s my mind made up. I was thinking of buying the tropical England for a while so I’m getting it on these comments. Does anyone know what hops are in the mix and is it worth getting some Harlequin to boost it up?

Anyone tried the Crossmyloof AG kits?

Hi Jordang. I’ve been looking at this kit and I was wondering how did it go?

    What did you learn today?

Today I learned not to rush a brewday….or leave your other half in charge of hop additions. I started yesterday all organised, water sorted and nearly everything at arms reach with just the hops to get out the freezer and yeast from the fridge. Had the day off work to do the school runs with...

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

My attempt at the Hazebros Harlequin NEIPA. It’s been bottled for 86 days and still looks good and tastes great. Really pleased considering it’s bottled and not kegged.

    Cerveza Kits

Hi Scotty, I’ve been thinking of doing a tea when mixing my latest pimp brew and I have a couple of questions. How large was the tea? And does it make a difference? Thanks

    Nukatap versatility.

It’s coming from Brewkegtap, It’s an option on their soda stream keg kit.

    Nukatap versatility.

    Great news thanks. 🍻

    Nukatap versatility.

I’m getting corny keg sodastream set up from BKT. I’m going spurge and get the nukatap option but I’ve got a question many on here will be able to answer. Can I change the keg mounted fitting to a shank when the inevitable happens and another keg appears and the brew fridge becomes a kegerator...

Do you still live where you were born.

Born in Banbury and grew up in Bicester for 27 years. Went to Australia on working holiday visa but stayed in Manly for 2 1/2 years (I overstayed my welcome a little bit) Came back to Bicester for six months. Moved up to Edinburgh for 14 years, moved to Dalkeith 6 years ago but still work in...

What are you drinking tonight 2022?

Great pack. I prefer the first world problems myself.

    Just another Corny beginner thread.

I’ve got a mat that’s pretty much redundant at the moment and am reluctant to go back using it as my brews are much better after getting the fermentation fridge. The more I think about it the more I think I have to rearrange the garage to accommodate another fridge, that’s not the problem...

    Just another Corny beginner thread.

Exactly what I would be doing @JockyBrewer did your beer change after rechilling it? I wouldn’t be drinking warm beer but don’t have space for a separate fridge. As long as the beer stays fresh after moving from a cold to warmer environment for a short until I can get it cold enough to drink...

    Just another Corny beginner thread.

My idea was to take the corny out of the fridge while I have another vessel fermenting. I tend to ferment at 18c, ambient garage temp ranges from 16-20c, too much variation for fermenting and would be looking to chill kegged beer at 12-14c. Luckily the garage is east facing and doesn’t get too...

    Just another Corny beginner thread.

Following my ‘Vevor Growler’ thread I’m looking at getting my first Corny keg. The only problem is due to space I’m going to have to share my fermentation fridge with the Corny. Has easy would this be IRL? And will the temp changes spoil the beer inside the keg? I haven’t found a ‘guide’...

    Vevor growler

After looking it up and reading some mixed reviews I’ve decided to give it a wide berth. It might be alright but you say @Tanglefoot for a few extra quid I could get a more reliable set up.

    Vevor growler

Hi all. I was wondering if any of you had or have had one of these. With fathers Day creeping in I’m getting asked by her indoors if there’s anything I need/want and I can’t say what I really want - too much money - but I say these and had a light bulb moment. But if they’re not so good I’d...

    CML Timothy Taylor.

They use their Midland yeast. The finished beer is very drinkable but I when using a PB I could do with a touch more carbonation as it empties.

    CML Timothy Taylor.

To be honest cutting the mash/boil timings is a time saving exercise. The brew sheet I have says Mash @66 90 mins Mash out @75 10 mins By cutting half an hour off both I thought I’d lose some colour but wasn’t sure about taste, because that’s more important than colour.

    CML Timothy Taylor.

Hi everyone. After already brewed this kit from the very excellent CML, I decided to give it another go. I foolishly bought a bottle of Landlord to compare against my previous attempt. Both served at garage temperature, bottle was lighter in colour and quite heavily carbonated compared against...
