    Secret Santa Recipes 2021

Hi @Begbie, having tried your stout, I like mine to be a bit sweeter and have more body so I tend to use some lactose in my stout recipes which I would recommend if keeping your mash temperature high enough is a potential issue. Regarding the yeast I have read that the CML Four is potentially...

    Secret Santa Review Thread 2021!

I have had my second secret santa beer this evening, a 4.6% Chocolate Oatmeal Stout With a strong pour there was a lovely head which sadly dissipated quickly. The beer poured really clear with little sediment left in the bottle and a jet black colour. This stout had a really nice roasty aroma...

    Secret Santa Review Thread 2021!

Tried my first secret santa this evening, an American IPA I'm sorry to report that I'm glad I followed my sixth sense and opened this over the sink as it was sadly a gusher and had to go down the drain :( It looked nice and clear in the bottle and there was a nice fruity aroma so I'm sad to...

    Biggest influence on beer quality

I would say that water treatment, mash temperature, timing of hop additions, fermentation temperature, yeast choice and kegging are the things that are most important to me in making my best and repeatable beers. Of course none of that is important if you don't have good post boil sanitary...

Issue with Inkbird ITC308S - anyone else had this?

Hi @OldNick, it sounds like your one is behaving in the same way as others - sometimes big spikes, sometimes small spikes, sometimes faster than others to come back down again etc. In other words it seems quite random and probably why inkbird can't find/understand/acknowledge the fault. As...
