Did you consider a German Ale yeast as Altbier traditionally uses ale yeasts rather than lager yeasts.

The best pseudo lager yeast I’ve used is M54 from Mangrove Jack. I use it for Mexican lager and Japanese lagers.

It was down yesterday for stock taking I suspect this will happen a lot before year end and I doubt they’ll trade that long. So don’t miss an opportunity to buy. I’ve stocked up on yeast, for hops the retirement multi deals are good value but not a full catalog of their hops.

Buy one of these. I rinse all the bottles with this , then inspect the inside visually, brush if necessary (not usual) and then soak in VWP for 20-30 and then another rinse.

I’m glad I’ve bought 2 years supply of CML yeast.

I saw them in our local Lidl but didn’t buy as there was no description on the pack of the beers. Can anyone confirm what the beers are and what ABV? Thanks.
