Yes same, a fermentation fridge needs no DIY, a kegerator on the other hand does, so I can see why people by a ready made one of those.

Yes like I said, Caramunich is not required. Actually a better malt bill is simple Pilsner and wheat and let the yeast shine through. Paulaner is a pretty weak example, typical mass produced beer.

I don’t think you’d taste much with 200g to be honest, but I’d be interested to hear if I’m wrong. I did 2.5kg raspberries in a recent batch and it gave a decent flavour.

For an authentic weissbier you’re better off with 60% wheat 40% Pilsner, no caramunich is needed. I’d brew something else like the saison suggested rather than a weissbier with this grain bill.

I’ve got 2 packs of this gratis from lallemand sitting in my freezer right now. I’ll be doing a German Pils fermented in a standard ss brewtech bucket so I can give another view on how it turns out after that.

On the Munich Helles again, only 6 litres left but got a golden ale in the FV so things are looking up.

Co-op ‘Triple Hop’ which confusingly has 4 different hops. Reminds me a bit of Proper Job. Best before April 23 but still tastes decent.
