Correct and right. It does move when I scroll though. Does that count?

    Electric cars.

This is fast becoming the standard. On top of which, some people have found that their car's charging port has burned out due to the constant on and off charging from solar.

Can't even read that off most regulator scales. 🤣

Should i just bin my hydrometer?

No problem. At least you can take your hydrometer out of the bin now. :D

Should i just bin my hydrometer?

Yeah, probably about 2.5l in the extracts. So still close enough to 26L all in.

    1st time kegging help

There's force carbonation methods which tbh I don't think are necessary. You should chill your kegged beer as low as possible (2° to 4° preferable which helps absorb the CO2) and then set to serving pressure - about 12 psi for lagers - and leave for a week. Don't set a higher pressure than you...

Should i just bin my hydrometer?

Yeah. As @Bitter_Dave says, you top up TO 23L. If you look at the instructions that @An Ankoù posted on the previous page, the process is to add 3L of boiling water first to help dissolve the extracts and then top up to 22.5L (23L would be fine). That seems to be how you've come out low on the...

Should i just bin my hydrometer?

It can be as far as I can make out. Always a good idea to read the label and find out what you're putting in your beer. Edit: Just looked up a few there. All kinds of concoctions involving various quantities of DME, dextrose and maltodextrin.

Should i just bin my hydrometer?

I've been out of using kits for a long long time. But looking around, there is such a variety of what looks like quality stuff out there. I see Muntons for example supply Fermentis yeasts with theirs. That's a big step up from unidentifiable and often insufficient quantities with the cheaper...

At least Mangrove Jack's tell you to make sure the wort is below 25° before adding the yeast. Dark Rock? Crickets...

Should i just bin my hydrometer?

Yes really. Think about it. It's the first quality control step in your brew. Something you can check against the recipe. Except they don't give it. So you're effectively partially blind all the way to the end of the process.

Should i just bin my hydrometer?

It's less than helpful to not include that information. There isn't too much work in providing vital information about the kit. You'd think OG would be a minimum. FG is variable depending on fermentation conditions, but OG should be a given, not a mystery. Numpties might be a bit harsh, I'd just...

Should i just bin my hydrometer?

Just checked that "beer enhancer". It contains (as I suspected) DME plus yeast nutrient and water treatment. That last one has raised my eyebrows a bit. Water treatment should be specific to the water being used which can vary widely. But that's mainly important with all grain brewing and not...
