    Corny lid

I don't think it would be possible. In the same way it can't be regulated in a pressure barrel.

    Corny lid

Looks like it has been modified to take a small gas cylinder (sot sure if it would be an s30 or one of those attachments for an 8g co2 bulb)

    Malt miller recent experience

I've always had good experience with Malt Miller. I get 85% of my ingredients and equipment from them (that'll increase now they are bringing in more Kegland products). They held a meet-up event on Wednesday at my local home brew club, and the enthusiasm they show in their videos isn't just for...

    New tap and keg installation

I was going to also suggest 3/16 for gas too. It's so much easier. I have very little 3/8 in my setup. I leave my gas on all the time. I know others have had issues doing this, and I know it could happen to me, but it hasn't. Check for leakes with a star san solution or similar when first...

    Spotless water

I use 100% spotless then add salts as required. I know a fair few at my local brew club also use spotless. I was under the impression it is RO.

    Anyone make Gose?

I brewed the one from Greg Hughes' book, though I kettle soured (or rather, tried to. Ended up adding lactic acid to sour). I must say, it's one of the most drinkable beers I have made, especially for bbqs and during this hot weather we're getting. It went down well at a recent club too. I...

Brülosophy Short & Shoddy inspired competition

Edit: I just realised you.said "grain to glass" so am I right to think it has to be All Grain? If so, my response is invalid 😂 I like this idea. Perhaps because I have a 'S&S' process I have been using to brew quick beers when my stocks are low. Most recently I did a lager in a couple of...

    Bottling day help

To add, batch priming also helps if you have bottle of differing sizes. There's no need to remember to put less sugar in the 330ml bottles for example. I know I would forget and put the same amount in a 330ml bottle --> inconsistent carbonation. Measuring all the priming sugar at once, rather...

Tell us about your regular/house brews

Sounds like my ideal lineup of beer 😍

Love the sounds of this 😍

Tell us about your regular/house brews

I always thought I'd never repeat a brew but have now done a rice lager and light lager a couple of times. Always got at least a couple of ales on tap, but never the same recipe.

    TMM corny kegs

No problem, they're good value so still worth mentioning!

    TMM corny kegs

They're reconditioned ones. That price is comparable to Malt Miller (£55).

    TMM corny kegs

Nice, I noticed they had come back in stock, and the price (£77) is comparable to the kegland ones too. I must admit, apart from being 4mm narrower, I can't see why anyone would buy a new AEB keg given they cost £110 now

    Elusive Brewing 7th Birthday Competition

I entered a very similar competition at our club night a couple of weeks ago, and was planning to brew it again so could enter it. Might be a foolish idea, given that Andy was one of the judges and I didn't place, but hey, I liked it 😂

    Elusive Brewing 7th Birthday Competition

I have bought an entry. The thing I can't decide on is whether to use the supplied malt and hops or not...

    CO2 prices in your areas?

Never said you did, but wither way you end up with a free cylinder. I just thought it was weird to conclude with "Rip Off Britain", but I now realise you were baiting, and I took the bait 😂

    CO2 prices in your areas?

Hardly. My refills are £20 and my cylinder would have been free if I had nicked it.

Moving to UK from US. Which online store for equipment?

👆this is what I was going to suggest (apart from Angel Homebrew, but that's only because I have never used them).

    Nukatap bottle filler problems

I must admit, I don't find it as easy to use as the video suggests. For example, the video mentiones only having to adjust the outlet valve(or whatever it is called) once, but I find I have to do it every time, otherwise when purging, the CO2 just comes straight out. Furthermore, it's a messier...
