Fruity gin mix please

I feel sorry for whoever has the Dec comp this year. It's not looking promising...

As if by magic! Only a slight issue with the labels falling off though...

Same could be said about Stilton... I quite like it but many don't... Give it a go. The worst that could happen is you lose an afternoon and a fermenter for a couple weeks. And if some says they don't like it you can tell them it's an acquired taste!

Very pleased to see @DocAnna delivery arrive today. Incredibly jealous of your lovely cans and labels.

I tend to go with about 40g per 500ml (a little more than seems to be recommended so probably results in some wastage) or until it pours dark green, and is deathly bitter when you taste it. And then add it to the barrel, then make another of it isn't enough and repeat.

I normally treat it as I would a hopstand, around 20-30 mins at around 80c. That's my two cents, for what it's worth

On that note I will put out last calls for those interested in entering this month. I'll be judging weekend of the 10th so plenty of time to get them in the post and settled down by then.

Original plan was the 3rd but there is no reason I can't put it back to the 10th for you. I believe that is still within the two week window, unless there are any objections.

I tend to use a bit of acid malt to lower it. But if I forget I give it an extra 12 hrs
