Thinking about getting one of these, the only thing that is putting me off is that you need to buy a g-connector to use it as a tap which is about £70. Is there a reason why you can't pour into a glass without the connector.

Hi I've done a dark rock cafe espresso stout and added the britewort and coffee essence two days ago. The instructions say bottle after two days but something has come up and I won't have time until Saturday. Will it be OK? Will I lose any flavours?

I tried my kegland c02 regulator and it fitted fine, so does this mean it is a c02 bottle?

Hi All, I've just picked this co2 bottle up for nothing, it still has plenty of gas in it. What would you do with it? Use it as is? Empty it and get it serviced and refilled? Perhaps I could hook it up to a 10 litre keg and fill with water and see what the soda water tastes like.

Dark Rocks All Grain Cafe Espresso Stout, got an extra 1.5 litres in the FV. Instructions said OG 1061 approx. I got 1057, does that sound about right due to the extra 1.5 litres

I pitched my yeast Sunday morning and today it's bubbling away nicely, only thing that I've never had before is, I can't seem to see a krausen on top but there is clumps below the surface. I haven't opened the lid and don't intend to, I know its early days but I was wondering what an infection...

Had an emergency last night, luckily I had done everything but the cooling and pitching. So I'm going to finish it this morning. As it's settled should I just transfer it to my FV or should stir it and heat it up to pitching temp. Will it be OK? Do you think I would have lost any hop flavour?
