Great stuff. I don't go through grain very fast but it's good to find a couple of local people to spit bags with. I've looked online at the Place to Brew but never visited. Have a nice little setup at home so never needed to use it. Sounds and looks great though. 👍

Great. I'm hoping to get something ordered and collected next week. I'll let you know once I see the state of my brew shed over the weekend. I haven't done anything since June so it may be a mess!! 👍

Hi Chico, yes it would be pre-crushed. I was thinking of just splitting the bag, probably using bathroom scales 😂. I've a large blue barrel I'd use to store mine in. Do you have anything suitable?

My second Imp Stout swap was by @Stu's Brews. This opened with a slight hiss and poured nicely. It had a thin head which dissipated quickly. Nice aroma, maybe a hint of chocolate. Warm taste, maybe fruity and dark choc. A lovely alcohol warmth when drinking. No idea on the %abv but it struck me...

Had this lovely beer from @Caramel Ox the other night. Again, top marks for your labels and cap decoration. This poured with a very thin head. Lovely colour. I couldn't detect much of an aroma,but I'm not sure if that was me missing something. This was an easy beer to drink, hiding the 8%...

I'm thinking of buying a sack of MO and a sack of Golden Promise (both £30 or just over for 25kg crushed) from Murphy &Sons. I won't use that much grain over a year, so wondering if anyone local to Stapleford would be interested in splitting the sacks? 🍻🍻

Drinking a nice Rebel Porter kindle provided by @Caramel Ox as a bonus beer with the Imp Stout swap. This was a little lively opening but poured ok. Lovely porter smell and great taste. Good hit of roasted grains on the pallet. Thanks for sharing , lovely brew. 👍

Thanks for sharing your recipe. Love it that you used Golden Promise....a grain I've only used once on my TT clone, and keep meaning to use again. Just waiting for my local supplier to do a discount on a sack! You had a couple of hops I hadn't heard of before, as well as an unknown yeast to me. 👍

I have an imperial stout to swap, and maybe a Dubbel (if I keep my mits off then😂). Haven't tasted the imperial for a few months so need to check on them.

Thanks. Found my score, 29 for my Dubbel. Really glad to get some feedback on this. Some areas to work on for my version of this beer.
