    OK, as I said I hadn't read the whole thread just adding my thoughts for anyone else who might not know how good Chemsan is I know there are others here who use Milton.

    I haven't read the full thread but here's my two penneth, I have used Milton sterelising tablets all the time I have been home brewing, I recently moved to Chemsan and now wouldn't use anything else, it seems expensive but you only use 10ml in 5 litres of water and when usimg a spray bottle...

    The FV temp has slowly carried on dropping but i think it has finally stopped, the kitchen is still 22c. (started fermenting Sunday) Today 6/11 - 15:00 - 23.1 17:00 - 23.0 19:00 - 22.9 20:30 - 22.9

    As you say this doesn't add up i checked out lowest range SUV and this came up - MG4 EV SE Standard Range: Has a range of 218 miles on a single charge and a 51 kWh battery so allowing for motorway speeds it still shouldn't have cost anywhere near £150 to do 300 miles.

    I assume it's someone with lots of money who owned one back in the day, I would love to own my favourite car again which was a 2.3 V6 Cortina if I had loads of money the price wouldn't stop me.

    No its nowhere near heat of any sort, i think i may have found the answer and can now stop panicking :D How much does fermentation raise temperature? Since yeast growth and fermentations are exothermic and therefore generate heat the temperature within the fermenter can be as much as 4 ºC...

    Thanks AG i have kept an eye on it today and - @13:00 = 26.7c @16:30 = 25.7c The kitchen is currently 22c

    The wine in my SS FV is sat at 28c my kitchen is 20c I thought the digital thermometer may be reading wrong so put my meat thermometer in the thermowell and it read the same, is this normal?
