Picture or Video of the day.

I remember seeing the rusted out coin boxes as a kid locals in a certain island had 50p moulds that they made ice 50p in and fed the meter

Some advice on priming sugar for sparkling wine?

Seems very high tbh 10g per litre normally enough especially with EC1118 the analogy being a teaspoon per 500ml bottle seen as high as 8g per 500ml used tho. 10g per ltr =210g 16g per ltr =336g I would no go any higher than that as may turn into bottle bombs BUT I am far from an expert just...

Boosting a Simply Bitter kit with Medium spraymalt

Think it holds true for almost any form of brewing

    Death by cycle.

This comes back to common sense point being in the right will stop you causing an accident, exactly the same in overcrowded estates where you have to weave in and out of parked cars, having right of way does not mean you can plough on regardless. common sense if you can pull in closer than the...

Out of my depth please help!

Well my son approved of my first shot at AG made him the Crowned mexican kit from CML He tried it last night against Corona he prefers it says a touch sweeter and has more citrus flavour and generally easier to drink despite being a higher ABV. I presume the sweetness may have come from too...

    One for the football fans.

Not in favour of teams making appeals, rather it was the VAR referee picking up things the match ref has missed or not has a good enough view of

    Death by cycle.

This is a worrying trend and one step away from us all having to have cameras to justify any movements. I have always given cyclists plenty of room and will continue to do so but stories like this make me concerned that I need to be able to prove my side of the story

    One for the football fans.

Well being a Scottish football fan I voted fix it. Goal line technology and offside gridlines as they are definitive facts and should be utilised far quicker than currently implemented. Not a VAR issue but the time taken to raise an offside flag is ridiculous when play continues players still...

Totally agree if that was a car, bus, truck, motorcycle and so on with a form of ID then yes the full force of the law would rightly be applied. The idea that you can just keep going because you have a green light or so on when there is clearly an obstruction is just plain right ridiculous and...

    Death by cycle.

Working in Glasgow city centre sadly this is not that uncommon. This cyclist was just plain stupid, not for a second suggesting all are but clearly he knows the city, as the bus driver demonstrated and as a car driver you are fully aware that pedestrians cross regardless of the traffic lights...

The 'Recommend me a TV series' thread

was decent drama with a few turns, the ending was a bit against current political thinking tho

    Death by cycle.

Going off tangent slightly but recently I have witnessed some shocking behaviour from cyclists enacting the 1.5m rule for passing. To avoid any issues will not say where and when but witnessed a cyclist riding at close to the centre line as possible very dangerous, at the next junction the car...
