    Dodgy peanuts

Salt n pepper cashews from the land of pound are actually good, fwiw. Christamas family hampers, now there's a blast from the past!

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

I have my clone in the fridge waiting. Hard act to follow a 12% pastry stout! I really need to get one to compare against mine. It was a go to for the missus in a particular pub back in the courting days, while I was still on wheat beers (my gateway to ale).

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

BiL subscribed, to a few others as well but since cancelled. I have a really good beer shop practically on the doorstep so no need to get deliveries. But, I like the idea of random selections because I'll go in said shop and buy schlenkerla, any sam smiths or st Augustine helles and not really...

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

I lived and worked near SALT, before it was SALT. i dont think I've had one of there beers, but I need to a trip there when I'm next visiting friends. Nearby is also Fanny's Ale House, always a good place for a good beer.

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

After finishing this, I wonder how low the bitterness is. Certainly too low for me; really feels unbalanced (for me). The upfront(ish - remember its aldi) hop aroma and flavour is left hanging by a lack of bitterness.

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

Aldi special, £1.49 ish. Can says pineapple, mango, low bitterness and soft mouthfeel. I'd agree with that. NEIPAs are not my big thing, but I'd want more of a fuller mouthfeel. Saying that, it could be taste tested against a similar beer from a local craft brewery that specialises in hipster...

    English IPA dry hop

I used a bram x hop tea in my english ipa. 4g per litre which hasn't given much of what i wanted. I'd be tempted to use cascade

    Lalbrew London yeast

@pilgrimhudd commented it was a bit thin, might not be the yeast....?

    Lalbrew London yeast

I used it in a brown porter, mashed at 67c, 1.052 down to 1.018 = 66.8% aa, brewfather expected 71%.

Requesting advice on clearing and bottling AG brew

If you add vinclear, which I doubt you'll need; i wouldn't give it a good shake as this might oxidise the beer.

    Brewfather - no chill

Does anyone use brewfather, no chill in the boiler and leave the hops in? If so, do you use the whirlpool / no chill time in the equipment settings? As you'd expect I often use flame out and or 5min hop additions, but dont account for the bitterness they may add while cooling. Would I set...

    Stu brü days

#13 Weiss n Sleazy - Bottling Day I initially planned to bottle this a few days ago to make room for a Patersbier, but I cancelled the brew day for now. Bottling process starts with filling the bottling bucket with a VWP solution and adding the siphon, wand and any other required equipment...

What are you drinking tonight 2021?

Had this Lupu Lion, brew york 'for me' the perfect beer. Bittered a step before being assertive, big citrus aroma and subtle malt flavour
