    Thanks put my mind at rest and as for sanitising I used the powder sachet that came in the kit seemed to be OK for the bucket so time will tell can't wait now patience is not my strong point but Im learning

    Hi all I have just bottled my first ever home brew kit I tasted it before hand and it was really nice apart for it being flat,so anyway the instructions say 1 heaped teaspoon of sugar into 500ml bottle and leave in dark warm place for one week then cool. It looked very clear in the syphon tube...

    Bottling

    Hi all my name is ashley I'm new to the home brew thanks to the Mrs who got me the starter kit. I'm now a few days away from bottling I'm in two minds weather to fork out and buy swing top bottles or just buy a capper and reuse bottles from beer I have brought. Any advise
