    Why do I lose so much water after boil?

    I think I have the same boiler as you. When I started using mine I lost more than I did with my old plastic boiler. I keep the boiler on 110 to get a nice rolling boil. Simply add a few litres to your sparge water to accomodate.

    I used my new Buffalo yesterday for its first brew and am really impressed. It achieved a nice rolling boil with no modification and looked shiney! I did lose 2-3 litres more to evaporation, but simply topped the FV up at the end with boiled water. Any reason why next time I shouldn't increase...
