    Fused spurs are not used in my country. There is of course an RCD on the main electrical panel of the house. Where exactly do I wire the inline fuse and how many amps should it be for a control board to feed a 3kW/230V element?

    I've started building my own electric BIAB equipment and I want to add a PID temperature controller on it. I could use some advice wiring wise... My set up consists of a 3kW element, a pid controller, an SSR and I would like to add the necessary buttons to bypass the PID for the boiling...

    My only concern is whether my stove can manage a 50l pot with 35l or so of wort to boil… Could you please provide me with a link of what you mean? The electric kettles of 27-29 how much beer can they produce with MX or AG recipes?

    I wouldn't argue with that, but as far as I can tell due to larger amounts of boiling wort, AllGrain premises a more powerful heating source like gas or something... Unfortunately not an option in my apartment.

    A 50 liter pot seems a little too much for an electric hob to handle. Maybe something like 10-15 liter would be a more reasonable choice...
