    AG#10 Yes! I'm Special! (Braumeister)

Afraid being an Process Engineer - I like process controls as this gives me good repeatable results. Although, there are still blood, sweat and tears involved in paying for the kit - which i had to have a serious talk with myself about...we agreed to buy it in the end as it was...shiney! :D

    AG#10 Yes! I'm Special! (Braumeister)

It brew's 23 ltr's 'approximately' - i get 1 ltr loss in the base and seem to end up with 22-23 ltrs at the end. They also do a 50 ltrs and 200 ltr unit  but i have no space to store either - unless i start a microbrewery and use it as an excuse to brew in larger quantities.

    AG#10 Yes! I'm Special! (Braumeister)

I have used spices and wanted to experiment with a nice twang of flavour - i have researched and some recommend for a hint of flavour in the background 5-7g of Star on 23 Ltrs should be just enough. 8% rule of thumb = 8 weeks = 2 months, but it will get better with age if i have any left i will...

    UK C02 Suppliers

I did call them back and they said they cannot let me have the gas as a home user UNLESS i brought thier CO2 safety monitoring kit for 'Health & Safety' reasons. I think i mentioned this on the forum at one point. Anyway finally i managed to get to Eastern Gases Whalebone Road North Romford -...

    AG#10 Yes! I'm Special! (Braumeister)

    My brew - Wherry Clone

I had 70gms at the end. Dry hopping only adds aroma, not bitterness.

Dry hopping is a good idea!

    My brew - Wherry Clone

Be good to see how your version of the clone goes. Mine is now drinkable and i must say that it lacks body, but everything else is there. Not a bad first attempt at a Wherry Clone. Mine as i posted was from websites where staff and owners had posted some pointers on the percentage of grain used...

    Bikers!!!

These are my recent steeds, being a former MC Instructor and generally an old fart when it comes to touring comfort i always have tourers. 2003 Touring France and Italia on my trusty Pan. 2005 ST1300 with some lively colours, unfortunately some gits stole it and it was never seen again...

    Badger Poachers Choice... pls pls.

I used to work at that Brewery in Blandford St Mary many years ago. It may interest you to know at the time i was there they made the normal bitter, Tanglefoot, PIMM's and Panda Pops - perhaps they have found some of their ingredients from the materials from their other divisions. I might pop...

    Wherry'ish clone

Well nearly a month on i tried half a pint last night. It is a little cloudy, but ok. Taste is soft at first and then the taste of the bobeks comes storming thru. The slight acidic taste afterwards is now fading and i think with another month in the keg that will reduce to nothing. I am happy...

    Speidel Braumeister?

I removed the vane it and dried after the first use, checked it for the second brew and found a lot of mold inside the rotor vanes. I now take it out sanitize and dry it thoroughly before storage and before use again. I store mine inside at about 18-20 Deg so there should have been no moisture...
