Did not take gravity, never been a problem befor, lesson learned!

I do see what you mean, but it was bubbling to begin with, I'm a lazy brewer and don't bother with taking readings, have sealed the lid and air lock, So I can only assume it's stoped. However the kit does say "slow fermenting VARIETAL yeast. How can I tell for sure?

Put a brew kit on Sat afternoon.started well but stoped be Sunday afternoon. Im going to try re pitch with bakers yeast, only because that's all I have. Question should I just throw some in? Or should It be mixed with warm water, ?

Has anybody tried using a hand held steamer to sterilize bottles? Or made a sterlizer from a converted wallpaper steamer?

Just embarking on my first wine kit, Planing too reuse combination of : screw top wine,and water bottles. Has anybody tried running a small beed of Hot Melt ,or Silicone glue , around the outside joint of the cap to double seal it?
