My water is good and actually tastes really nice . I now it was things I did at the beginning. Put the yeast in when the water was too hot amongst other things . I have started the juicy ipa and it’s like night and day the difference in the ferment already.

As long one is ready for the end of April I am happy to wait .

So it appears it’s just my tastebuds . Other people are liking it lol. Anyway after your suggestions I have gone for two kits , the youngs and mangrove jacks juicy ipa .

Yeah think I did. I did sanitise and followed the instructions but I must of done something wrong .

I made my first brew and it tasted horrible. It smelt good but had a nasty aftertaste(it was the beer works southern gold digger) . I want to do a pale ale next . I love beers like punk ipa, Adnams mosaic , Meantime London pale etc . Any recommendations for a kit that might be similar to these...

It is a bucket and has the little bottler attached to it to make the bottling easier. They tell you to syphon into there to bottle but don’t say how long to leave it in there .

I have another bucket with a tap on . Should I transfer to there and leave it for a few days before bottling or transfer and bottle on the same day?

Hi all , new to brewing . I got given the love Brewing kit for Xmas with the beer works gold digger lager. Hopefully Bottlig tomorrow. For my next kit I want to do a pale Ale. Any recommendations? I like pale ales like meantime, Camden Brewdog etc Anything like these would be good .
