Maybe I should have given it the label "American" IPA - would that somehow make it less controversial? It is in fact an IPA. Or at the very least, this is my version of an IPA and that is what makes home brewing so much fun and rewarding. Brewing celebrates creativity! Right?

Soon to be enjoyin' a Victory Hop Devil IPA

I am working towards a level clarity - I know most wait till the last 15 mins but this was a recommendation from a good friend - so I gave it a go.

This will be the first batch that I have it in - my research say that it can easily become a potent additive and to be careful with yer amounts... This is why I left the second 2 Tablespoon as seed. (not crushed) I am hoping for gentle notes that will pair well with the orange.

I had some really good brew at a place called John Harvard's. I tried the JH Pale Ale and was pretty suprised - the HR was sick – foamy till the end. The wife had a Hefe and puckered a bit at it. I brought home a couple of growlers for the Olympics... ...was a nice evening indeed. :cheers: cc

Well I may not be the one to take this question (again, I am very new) However on this my 3rd attempt at a unique IPA that was actually one of the things that I tried to deal with. I love IPS's and all their hoppy character. I feel like I was able to get a very nice full Hop flavor and aroma...
