Coopers European - now smelling.
On a related subject of funny smells - I'm just a beginner and have just started my first batch; it's a brupaks Birkby Best Bitter: It seems to be fermenting happily after a day or so but it does seem to smell a little bit "sour". Please help - campden tablets (or lack of)
I just started my very first brew this weekend and after reading this thread i had a sniff of my tap water and definitely very chloriney - can someone advise when exactly to use the campden tablets? It's only been fermenting for a day or so - is it too late?- theboltongroaner
