    That’s what I do with mine. It reduces the kicking of the heater significantly. I used bubble wrap covered on both sides with aluminium foil (used for cooking etc.) and wrapped it round. Also put a thick towel over the lid. It isn’t perfect but the beer still tastes good!

    Very helpful suggestion, many thanks. I have never used CO2 to carbonate, but presumably when I bottle could add less sugar than normal

    Has anyone got experience of brewing a low alcohol beer. Am thinking of trying one out. I have been full mash brewing for over two years now with good success. I’d like to experiment on making some low alcohol beer so I can drink a bit more without being drunk!

    Hi Just joined the forum. I’ve been full mash brewing for 2 years now after many years using kits. My garage has never smelt so good since I started full mash brewing and the beer is so much better than using kits. Having just bought a Klarstein all in one brewing kit just before Christmas...
