mine's just lots of bitty floaters, will try sieving it or failing that, will just sup it up!

Don't know why, but the name does it for me - you could be brewing with hobnobs and it would still appeal!

Beers have been sat in bottles in a fair condition (fairly warm) for just over 2 weeks now, bit of sediment at the bottom, but they are have a few bits floating about - any ideas of how to reduce this at all?

quick question - we're priming the bottles, do we need to give them a bit of a shake when capped to make sure it all gets mixed in and that? had a crafty taste and its not bad, definitely needs a few weeks though!

Well, a week has gone by and I'm reliably informed that we have had 2 readings of gravity at the same level - time to bottle today! All those weeks of hard work drinking bottled beers and saving the bottles have come good - except the Wychwood bottles, which are flaming useless

had another f'up with the chiller as the hose we had wouldnt fit it very well, but managed to chill it and it's now sat in the FV at my mates house at a cosy 23 C - yeast seems to be working as the airlock is bubbling away nicely still smells like weetabix though, bit worried about that! will...

right, tun fixed and the boil is on now. Smells oddly like weetabix - first OG reading was pretty high, but it leveled out quite nicely!

just had a massive fup, mash tun started leaking just after putting liquor in, thank christ we hadn't put any grain in yet!efforts are underway to seal it up and start again! best have a beer!

Ha, no camera yet as we're at my mates place and his missis is out with it, but as soon as she comes back we'll get some taken! The burco boiler is a beast! Using BrewStew's guide too - massive help!

Cheers guys Think I'll leave off getting them at the moment - cash is running a bit thin on the ground, so will make do with the bottles we've already got for now, and then once pay day comes round I might have to have another look!

First brew is coming up this weekend - we're going to start off with a Spitfire clone and plan to bottle it after 10-14 days in the FV. Query is - Is it worth getting a Corny or two now (there's two of us so we'd probably have one each) or should we just suck it up for a while and use bottles...
