Ok thnx, i did add a 2nd bag to it, the also awfull smelling bry-97 :-D .. hope the off smell goes away.. my raja's reward Ipa has been bottled for 14 days, tested one yesterday and smells awfull but taste is quite nice .. hopely it goes away that smell :-\

The raja's reward i think is very nice. Just add 500 gr beer enhancer , boil the off smelling hops from the kit for bitterness and add 25 gr cascade, 25gr mosaic and 25gr citra as dry hop! Amazing!

Good thing, actually i looked at the coopers drop bag and it said it has 2.5gr of sugar intaste each tablet of 3 gr .. and thats dextrose not glucose or granulated sugar of course .. so i also think the 110 gr will be enough when using 100% pure priming sugar .. srry i tried to blow up your home :-D

Oh .. well i did find the hops very pleasant but the yeast that comes with it is just not smelling great.. it smells a lot like the bry-97 yeast .. this one does also realy stinks but after some time tends to be clearing up .. hopefully my turns out to be allright monkey .. let's light a candle...

Have added some things extra in there and sg is 1070 .. that's why i ask can i put another yeast bag in, just done this brew ...

I use the coopers carbonation drops, 1drop (tablet) is 3 gr for 33 cl , so it should be 9 gr a liter, that's 9 gram x 23 liter = 207 grams of sugar i guess ( i am from Belgium so you have to calculate into ounces) .. its like 207 x 0.035 ... so thats about 9.45 ounces for a 23 liter brew...

Started this 2 day's ago , added 250 gr light maltpowder and about 500 gr dextrose, boiled the hops that came with this kit for 60 min to bitterhop (it should be around 85 ibu then) , sg was 1065 !! (Don't know how much abv this would make) , i am going to dry hop 3 days before bottle'ing with...

Great Aphid, nice high abv % ! What did you do to boost up abv and sg? What ingredients did you add?

Why we add extra's to this kit is to give it more taste or flavour or abv and even bitterness ... nothing wrong with that, i always dry hop with at least 4gr/liter .. with different hops than the ones that came with the kit :-) .. so much better in taste! Kit beers are too standard , my opinion ....

Use panties/stockings(girls) , the knee section , those are realy fine holes for syphoning (muslim bag hole's are a bit to big) :-)

Also brewing this.. good to know i must have some patience :-) . I used 2x 11gr bry-97 yeast for my 23 liter beer. After 1.5 hours fermentation begins! Now 3 days later the airlock keeps on going ;-)
