    tried one last night and it was just ok, really bitter but a nice taste think ill try one more tonight then leave them for 2 or 3 weeks :thumb:

    i put less water so it would be a stronger stout 18L instead of 23L, added 500g os dark spray malt and 300g of brewing sugar, is there a really good yeast that might get this going . at the moment this will be 2.4% not good

    im doing a stout kit and its been fermenting for 4 days but seems to have nearly stopped , its started at 1040 and iv just taken a reading and is only at 1020, so no where nearly finish , can i add some more yeast to get it going again , iv given it a good stir and thats not made any differance...

    hi im back making the homebrew again after over a year off , got a stout fermenting and a brewferm diabolo coming next any one done this kit it should finsh at 8% :) . so glad iv started up again. cheers

    iv just opened and then re sealed the lid and now its bubbling again :thumb:

    the air lock on my coopers stout started bubbling a day after adding the yeast but only lasted for a day and has now stopped, is this normal, is it still fermenting , do i need to give it a stir :?: :?:
