    Bottling & Carbonation Drops Question

There are priming calculators on the Internet, or in beersmith if you use it. Here's one: http://www.brewersfriend.com/beer-priming-calculator/

    Best BIAB boiler

Same here - I brew in a tiny little kitchen. Did you want to do step mashes, or were you using the boiler simply to do the boil after you've pulled the bag?

    Best BIAB boiler

Out of curiosity, why are you opting to use a buffalo type boiler? Why not just get a large stockpot and fit 1 or 2 2.4kw elements?

    Bottling & Carbonation Drops Question

I use a bottling wand. When the bottle fills right to the top, I remove it. This leaves about an inch in my bottles (pint bottles)

    Bottling & Carbonation Drops Question

I would seriously consider using dextrose to prime, rather than drops. I know they make things easier - but on the two occasions I have used them the carbonation has actually been rather inconsistent.

Almost given up on homebrew :(

Brewing at a lower temp - does it affect the fermentation period?

What kind of yeast are you using? 1.010 is pretty low FG if you test again in 2 days and it is still 1.010 then it's finished. How low were you expecting it to go? My money is on that it is finished fermenting and it is time to bottle.

Help me use what I bought!

Ok, here's the deal: I bought a rims tube, and 3kw element from Mr Lard. I also bought a brewpi, raspberry pi, two SSR's, and everything else needed to set up the brew pi. Originally, I wanted to use the brewpi for mashing with the RIMS. Unfortunately, brewpi has not yet been updated fully for...
