    Alcotec 48 help needed

Ok so it's been on 11 days, sg has been sat at 1.010 for the last 3 days although there is still some bubbles every few minutes, unfortunately the crappy LCD thermometer stuck to the side of the fv has decided to show nothing but brown on ALL the temps so I don't know what the temp is sat at, I...

    Re: Wilko's Delicate Pilsner

I've just this minute put this on, I've used 1kg brewing sauger and 500g of enhancer and a little short on the water at 21 litres, sg is at 1.044 which seems about right from all the other posts I hope, pitched the yeast at 21c so now it's just a waiting game.

I'm news to homebrew and I also run a restaurant so have bottles a plenty, I find the easiest way is to get the other half to do it lol. alcotec 48 homebrew where do i start help

I've got the same brew on, it's been kept around the 21-22 mark and after 8 days it's at 1.020 like yours, from some of the posts I've seen they say to leave it for 11 days or more. 5 days at 30c is what's recommended but who has a room that temp??? Mine also looks like it's doing very little...

    Alcotec 48 help needed

The basic instructions say nothing about sg readings and I wasn't sure if it finished higher due to the sugar content. Like I said I am fairly new to this game having only one brew under my belt :D

Sorry I meant 1.040 I used 8 kilo of sugar and within 24 hours there was a white foam on the top, now there's just a few bubbles every now and again (15-20 seconds)

I thought I better introduce myself for fear of being told off. I am definitely a newbie to the homebrew ways but my first attempt was quite successful so thought I would stick another two on. I hope to keep learning and broadening my homebrew recipe portfolio but going to stick to the kits...

    Alcotec 48 help needed

I'm fairly new to home brewing and my brew has been going for 6 days, a day longer than stated but it has been a little cool in the spare room with it sitting at 20-22c. My question is what should the sg be at and which way will it go. It's currently at 0.140. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
