    Hi I stumbled across a site showing you how to make a spunding valve and I've bought the parts to have a go at making one .Has anyone else used one and would it be an advantage using one? I was going to try and fit it to my mangrove jack stainless fv bit wasn't sure if it would be suitable.

    That's how I did the first 4 brews but as I've got 2 kids under 4 it wasn't safe to do so lucky my dad came to the rescue. Been busy sorting out the plumbing and sealing up fermentation chamber today so hopefully get it finished by the weekend to get a brew on.
