Thanks, just thought I should check

    New CML yeasts announced!

I've just ordered a couple of packs of clipper to try. I've used verdant before and based on the instructions just chucked it in. Are CML dried yeasts the same or should I rehydrate?

Fermzilla Dry-hopping via PCO 1881 Ball Valve - Stuck Pellets

Could you tilt it in the fridge on the stand or lower the clearance with a plant pot holder etc. I use the valve dry hopper, it is fiddly. Get a 1 litre tonic water bottle, it's a much better shape. I purge with a bike valve at the other end. It is fiddly to get them to drop. The back of the...

    Brewzilla & Grain Bag

I had problems with the pump blocking, I used @foxy suggestion for the helix coil with the attachment going into the pump. I usually have oats, wheat etc added so I think this was part of the reason why. Never blocked since and works great. Although my tap blocked, when I just chucked the hops...

    Neon Raptor Bash AG kit

Great to able to try them side by side I have my eye on the Elusive Oregon trail kit. The colour looks much deeper too

    Neon Raptor Bash AG kit

Just to update, I've tried it again tonight. It's 6 days in the keg and the sharpness has gone. A small lingering pithy bitterness now which I like. Agree with @ChilledGecko, this keg isn't going to last long, totally crushable. Definitely on the order again list for me

    Neon Raptor Bash AG kit

I changed the water profile, upped the hops a little in the whirlpool to 70g eldorado, 70g mosaic, 80g eldorado dry hop. Thinking back I upped them as I was using a hop spider. However I don't now, so the original levels might work better. Also I fermented under pressure, which would suppress...

    Neon Raptor Bash AG kit

https://www.clawhammersupply.com/blogs/moonshine-still-blog/lazy-hazy-summer-session-ipa I made the above last year with Voss, scaled the grain bill to 4.4%, mashed at 70 and it turned out well. Im planning to brew it again soon, with more dry hops and little bit of citra in the whirlpool...

    Neon Raptor Bash AG kit

Mine has been in the keg 6 days, it's a touch sharp/perceived bitter on the finish. Im not sure if that will settle down. Mainly getting a load of citrus with one of them being lime. Headwise it pours ok, however it doesn't stick around too long.

    Kegerator owning and placement

https://brewkegtap.co.uk/products/19l-ball-lock-keg-brand-new Above is the kegs, I cut cardboard circles out and took them when I went to buy the freezer secondhand, to see if they would fit. The collar is higher as I needed to place one on the compressor hump.

    Kegerator owning and placement

I bought the kegland ones as they are slightly thinner. It's a squeeze, but it works.

    Kegerator owning and placement

Some amazing builds on this thread! Mine is in the utility. Only a small one, however it holds 2 cornys and a 6kg co2 bottle.

    Neon Raptor Bash AG kit

Brewed last night, all good except my tap blocked on my brewzilla during transfer. Managed to sort it though, on brew father it said I should hit 1.057 not 1.059. Achieved 1.055, so slightly under however I'm sure it will be fine. I added 4 handfuls of rice hulls to the mash, I noticed loads of...

    Neon Raptor Bash AG kit

I have this kit for my next brew and I will let you know how I get on. I have mashed at this temperature with Kveik before for a session IPA and it worked really well. The yeast rips through the sugars. I wouldn't worry about the beer. I have some rice hulls and I am planning to add them to...

    Brewzilla 3.1.1 Mash Temp Question

I'm struggling to maintain temp during the mash. I think it's from the false bottom becoming clogged up. I can rule out grain escaping under the bottom screen as I've just used a seal with the pro screen (check my other post if interested). The last beer I did was a Marzen with a grain bill of...

Brewzilla - fix to stop the bottom malt pipe screen moving

Ok this had been bugging me for a while, my bottom malt pipe screen would spin when I stirred too vigorously when mashing in. However I've managed to fix it.... I bought this seal and i tried it, with no joy. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mtwLoKG I took a Stanley knife to it and shaved it down...

    My first All Rounder brew

https://www.thehomebrewforum.co.uk/threads/fermzilla-all-rounder-dry-hop-valve-review.97311/#post-1102279 That's my review of the dry hop valve, however I think it's best for pellets. Magnets - that wouldn't work for me as I have a small under counter fridge and I know I would get the hops...

Big beer is selling off their UK Craft Beer breweries?

Yeah I really rate Saucery, it's my favourite supermarket session. I ve scanned the thread and I personally believe they can't expand it. Beaverton with Heineken can put it in loads of pubs and I see more and more friends asking for it. Then I will say try XX by a local brewery and normally...

    Hazelwoods Beer Improvement Project

Great thread and very informative. I'm a novice in comparison, however it's a topic I have thought about and it's nice to get more of an understanding of how to dial things in. At the minute I'm still following recipes. Randomly I was looking at a Canadian brewery, who give you all the...
